Horse Amelie

In many cases, ponies are animals with an "expiration date". They are bred and then delight children for many years. But the ponies usually meet a sad fate when their young owners turn their backs on them as they get older. If no new home can be found for the former family member, the final destination is usually the butcher. Amelie and her foal Mariechen, just 8 days old at the time, were spared this fate. An animal lover became aware of them and got in touch with us. Amelie - together with Mariechen - can now stay with us until the end of her natural life and never has to fear being in danger again.
