Chicken Arre

Many an attentive consumer assumes that if it says organic, it is organic. That the animals would therefore lead a happy and contented life. Looking at the 1,500 rescued chickens, many of which we were able to take over ourselves, there were large areas of feathers missing from their bodies, they were hectic and anything but happy. Chickens in a similar condition are known from other forms of husbandry that do not put animal welfare first, but do not advertise it. By rescuing Arre, we want to draw attention to the suffering of chickens and encourage people to handle their food more consciously.
