Beckham, a ten-year-old Hanoverian, was about to be euthanized due to a serious injury to his front leg. Despite numerous veterinary and physiotherapeutic efforts, his condition continued to deteriorate. Thanks to the cooperation of Gut Aiderbichl and the Sandgrueb Foundation, Beckham was brought to the rehabilitation center in Egg, Switzerland. Intensive pain therapy, orthopaedic shoeing and attentive care prepared him for an operation. This was successful and Beckham can now walk almost pain-free. Despite the difficult prognosis, he was saved - a result of the tireless efforts of vets, carers and supporters. Beckham symbolizes the success of hope and perseverance. Gut Aiderbichl would like to thank everyone who contributed to the rescue and reminds everyone: "There's no such thing as impossible."
