Horse Benno

An elderly couple who love animals were determined to give their protégés, the ponies Benno and Liesl, a safe and secure life. They hadn't really reckoned with their own ageing. Then came the day when they had to admit to themselves that they were no longer able to make hay, muck out, groom and care for their animals and be there for them every day, even on Sundays. They started looking for a new place. But there was no one who wanted them. As a last chance, they contacted us at Gut Aiderbichl in Henndorf. At the very last minute, they received a commitment from Michael Aufhauser, who knew exactly how much suffering these animals would otherwise have experienced.
