Berta and her fellow dogs Emma and Carlo had another stroke of luck. Their owner died of a sudden cardiac arrest and their 17-year-old daughter was unfortunately unable to help them. The legally appointed guardian demanded that the animals be slaughtered. An Aiderbichler became aware of the family's fate and asked Dieter Ehrengruber for help. Now the three lucky pigs have arrived at Gut Aiderbichl and are doing extremely well.
