The Noriker mare Bonita lives up to her name, which means "beauty". Before she became an Aiderbichler in October 2005, it almost looked as if her beauty would no longer be good enough. At the horse market in Maishofen, she was offered to horse dealers who would probably have sent her to Italy for slaughter. No consideration would have been given to her feelings and probably not to whether the transport would be pleasant... But she was lucky and became an Aiderbichler!
