An animal lover had fulfilled his dream of having Magalitza pigs on a piece of land. Happy with his three friends Emma, Berta and Carlo, life seemed to go on for him. But fate had other plans. The pet owner died of a sudden cardiac arrest. The daughter was still a minor and the guardian decided to slaughter the three animals. An Aiderbichler became aware of the fate and asked Dieter Ehrengruber for help. He immediately agreed to take in the trio.
