An animal lover contacted us via WhatsApp. She had already been accompanying a Bavarian warmblood called Carthago for several years. They went through thick and thin together. The animal lover told us that the owner wanted to have her gelding put down. However, there was a serious reason for this: the owner simply no longer felt able to pay for his treatment costs for his injured leg, stable rent and care. The animal lover finally made it her mission to save his life and find him a new home. The animal lover asked us to take in her best friend.
