Pig Charlie
German-country-pig
Charlie and Bambam were lucky enough to have convinced an animal lover that they should not be sent to the slaughterhouse under any circumstances. The young woman had noticed the two young pigs because of their calm but curious character. She decided to rescue them. Unfortunately, she was unable to keep the pigs herself and set out to find a forever home for Bambam and Charlie. Unfortunately, Bambam and Charlie had to move again and again. In the end, the accommodation for the two pigs was too small and the promise to change the situation could not be kept. The barn owners had underestimated the pigs' needs. There was no space to be found and the slaughterhouse hung over the two friends Bambam and Charlie like a sword of Damocles. Gut Aiderbichl was to be the solution. The two adorable pigs live at Gut Aiderbichl in Carinthia and are completely happy. They can roam, are fed species-appropriate food and enjoy their many fellow pigs.
