An elderly couple lived happily with their horses. The animals never had to work, never had to be ridden and could simply be horses. The couple had promised them that. The idyll came to an end when old age made it increasingly difficult for the couple to look after their horses. A painful separation was imminent, and it was also difficult to offer seven horses a place together. In such cases, the dealer was already waiting to collect the horses and send them to a slaughterhouse. The originally happy horses had become death candidates. When we heard about Charm and her friends, we immediately agreed to take them in.
