Chimpanzee Denise

Denise is Spätzle's best friend. The two are an unbeatable team. Denise, a very gentle chimpanzee, also knows exactly how to present herself in order to achieve her desired goals, especially when it comes to food. She uses every means at her disposal to talk the others out of something. As a result, she struggles a little with weight problems and is under the control of the keepers. When the outdoor enclosures were opened for the first time, nobody expected even one chimpanzee in the group to want to go outside. But things turned out differently. Spätzle was the first, followed by Denise and Benjamin. After a short while, Star also ventured outside. They commented on what was happening with sounds of delight and explored the entire outdoor area. They braved the wind and weather for a whole two hours and could only be called back into the living room with great difficulty by the caretakers.
