Gery Keszler, founder and long-time organizer of the Life Ball, has not only made it his mission to support humanitarian causes, but also to help preserve the endangered Zackel sheep. A small herd lives on his property, which he lovingly cares for. When his flock became too large, he asked for help for some of his protégés. And we would also like to make a contribution and inform people about these wonderful sheep. Doris now lives at Gut Aiderbichl and is an ambassador for his breed, a symbol of the fact that many breeds are falling victim to industrialization or have already ceased to exist.
