When animal welfare activists contacted us and asked us for help, we were shocked. Michael Aufhauser and Dieter Ehrengruber immediately drove to Amstetten and found a van there, which was stopped by the animal welfare activists. One look inside the van was enough to understand the situation. 21 horses for slaughter were being transported from Romania under brutal circumstances and were to be killed in Belgium. Among them was the pregnant mare Dorita. Everyone pitched in to raise the money needed to buy the horses. Dorita was able to give birth to her foal Mary Lou in safety at Gut Aiderbichl Köllersberger Hof. Please support us with a symbolic sponsorship for Dorita!
