Engelbert was rescued by animal lovers in 2012. They found him with a bloody wing. They immediately took him to a vet, who tended to his wounds. But he will probably never be able to fly again, further examinations finally determined. As Engelbert can no longer be released back into the wild, the search was on for a final home. He found one at Gut Aiderbichl Carinthia and feels at home here.
