Anyone who gets to know the big black horse can vividly imagine that even hardened hooligans turn into tame lambs in his presence. During his time as a police horse with the Munich police rider squadron, Fidelio and his rider were on duty at soccer matches in front of the Allianz Arena, among other things. The imposing gelding could always be relied on. Although Fidelio is in his prime at the age of 13, the vet responsible for horses has declared him unfit for service due to his joint problems.
