Cattle Gustl

The fact that Gustl is still alive today is thanks to animal lovers who campaigned for his life. Born on a dairy farm, he was labeled as worthless. He seemed to be destined for the fattening pen. Many of his fellow dogs follow exactly this path. Some find themselves on livestock trucks for slaughter, only to find their end months later - the final destination being the Middle East, where they are then slaughtered without stunning. Today Gustl is an Aiderbichler and may remain so forever.
