Horse Hanne

The beautiful Hanne with her faithful eyes had to go through terrible things. In October 2007, the slaughter transport she was on was stopped by animal rights activists in Lower Austria. The 21 slaughter horses were totally exhausted and some were injured. Together with the animal rights activists and generous supporters, we managed to buy the horses back. But accommodating so many horses at once was a challenge for us too. Without further ado, the Köllersberger farm near the main estate in Henndorf was converted into a horse sanctuary and prepared for the new arrivals. After completion, the horses finally moved into their new home. Please support us with a symbolic sponsorship for Hanne!
