When we heard from a little tamer that her dream of a big show in the ring had just been shattered, we asked ourselves whether this kind of entertainment was even necessary. Especially for so-called escape animals, a life in the ring is associated with pressure, stress and coercion. We have often adopted horses from the circus and in every single case we had to realize that this was not good for them. The young girl was very attached to her protégés. However, as the new circus act had not brought the success she had hoped for, she now had to part with the animals. It was clear what this would have meant for the ponies: there were simply too many ponies at the horse markets. We bought the "7 dwarves" free and brought them to Gut Aiderbichl. Much to the delight of the little girl, who greeted us beaming with joy. She knows that nothing will happen to her ponies at Gut Aiderbichl and that they will be allowed to stay until the end of their natural lives. She was allowed to perform the tricks she had practiced with her protégés one last time before the seven of them started their new lives.
