Horse Harlim
Warmblut
Throughout his life, Harlim was always loyal, hard-working and sociable. He was never guilty of anything. For years, he taught children to ride with great patience and love. As he grew older and went blind in one eye, the riding school operators suddenly turned their backs on him. This handicap meant that he could no longer "work" and was no longer profitable for the riding school. Riding students heard that something was going on and learned that Harlim was to be slaughtered. Shocked by this news, they stood up for their friend - Harlim could not be allowed to die! Together they asked Gut Aiderbichl to take him in. We wanted to reward Harlim's loyalty and the children's commitment...
