Cattle Heike

An animal lover decided to volunteer on a farm in beautiful South Tyrol. Although the farmer kept the cattle tethered, he seemed to have his heart in the right place. Over time, the animal lover developed a friendship with an old cow called Heike. Her gentleness and loyalty really impressed the animal lover. When she learned that Heike would soon have to be slaughtered because she was no longer economically viable, she wanted to do everything she could for Heike. She can now enjoy her retirement at Gut Aiderbichl Henndorf, the Schwaighofer farm.
