Carinthian Blond cattle originally come from the St. Veit an der Glan, Klagenfurt and Wolfsberg region. It is assumed that the Hungarian gray cattle were primarily involved in the breeding of this breed. Around 1980, the Carinthian Blondvieh was on the verge of extinction. Individualists did everything they could to save this breed. Harold came from a farmer who contacted us in despair. He had a twin birth in the barn and, to make matters worse, one of the calves had five legs. A case for Gut Aiderbichl, and so mother Jordi (†), calf Maude (†) and Harold became Aiderbichler.r.
