We will never forget the images of the flood of the century in Deggendorf in 2013. Many livelihoods were destroyed and many animals lost their lives in the flood waters. The Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf team did everything they could at the time to help as many animals as possible and save their lives. Entire farms were evacuated and the cattle were temporarily housed at Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf. This included Kaspar and his fellow cattle. The little one touched our hearts. So we asked the farmer if we could adopt Kaspar. He agreed and so little Kaspar became an Aiderbichler.
