Two sisters met the little calf shortly after it was born. They were on vacation at the farm and christened the little new arrival Kathi. They quickly built up a relationship with Kathi and visited her every day. When the vacation was over, the family learned that Kathi would soon be leaving the farm - to face an uncertain future. The family wanted to prevent this and asked us for help, as the two sisters had already plundered their piggy banks to buy the calf back. Deeply impressed by their commitment, Dieter Ehrengruber agreed to take in the calf. Of course, mom Franziska was allowed to come along.
