The yellow-breasted macaw is one of the best-known parrot species alongside the green-winged macaw. They impress with their wonderful bright colors and their intelligence. It is not unusual for these animals to live to be 100 years old. Kiki was already in distress once when her owners turned their backs on her. Back then, animal lovers from Munich took care of her and gave her shelter in their rescue center for parrots. However, this project could not be continued due to the age of the owners. They asked us for help. Michael Aufhauer agreed and so 51 parrots came under the protection of Gut Aiderbichl.hl.
