When La Vivi's mother, the pony mare Laurel, came to Gut Aiderbichl at the end of 2014, she was in a terrible condition. Neglected, emaciated and with a tumor under her eye, she was waiting in a dealer's stable for her final transport to one of the notorious slaughterhouses in southern or eastern Europe. We were able to rescue Laurel at the last minute and get her medical treatment. Unfortunately, there was no hope for the eye. Our joy was all the greater when a healthy pony foal, little La Vivi, was born in March 2015.
