A native of Styria and her husband had a great job at the UN and lived in Iran. One day they went for a walk through the city and found a small, sick kitten under a tree. They took the kitten home with them and looked after it lovingly. Lucky had to have three eye operations. The operations went well and Lucky, the lucky one, has 90% vision in one eye and 40% in the other. The owners were in love with their cat. He was very grateful and loved to cuddle and play with his people. Life was fine. He didn't have to go hungry, was loved and cared for - it couldn't have been better. But a job called the couple to New Caledonia, and unfortunately Lucky couldn't go with them. Unfortunately, legal regulations made it necessary to find a new home for Lucky. We received an e-mail in which Lucky was lovingly described and we couldn't really say no. Lucky made the journey and now lives at Gut Aiderbichl in Maria Schmolln. He was a little confused at first because he wasn't used to so many other animals... But animal keeper Rosi describes him as a very communicative young cat who really enjoys his life with all the cats and dogs at Maria Schmolln.
