Her owner had bought the cute little pot-bellied pig as a friend for his dog, believing she would stay that small. The owner was soon forced to look for a new home for his Lucy. He simply could no longer offer her species-appropriate and good care. He asked us for help. Lucy has become a symbol of the fact that potential pet owners should find out exactly what kind of animal they are bringing into their home and whether they are really up to looking after it!
