Ludwig was wandering through the woods when he was not a youngster. A lady found him seriously injured and ill and took him into her care. But he couldn't stay with her, so she found a place on a farm that also looked after children from difficult backgrounds. The owner lovingly raised Ludwig and, above all, kept him healthy. But Ludwig, who is a wild boar, is and remains a wild animal and the children had no access to him. It became clear that they would not be able to look after Ludwig in the long term and so we were asked to take him in.
