When the Romans occupied the provinces of Noricum, Raetia and Panonia (today's Salzburg and the Alps) around 40 AD, the Noriker breed developed. From then on, this breed, along with the South German cold blood, was of great importance to mankind. Nowadays, they are more likely to be found in the leisure sector. The breeding criteria are very strict. As Luna had some "flaws", she was not suitable for breeding and her path was mapped out. But an Aiderbichler woman did not want to allow this and asked us to take Luna in. She was spared transportation to Italy as a "slaughter foal" and became an Aiderbichler.
