Cattle Martin
Jersey-dahomey-mix
Martin is a born Aiderbichler, as he was born at Gut Aiderbichl Henndorf. His mother Alma was saved from the slaughterhouse at the last moment by an organic farmer. She was deemed "no longer useful" as she was no longer pregnant - and was therefore to be killed. But the organic farmer got her out of her hopeless situation in time. On his farm, Alma became the nurse cow for a small Dahomey cow, which would probably not have survived the winter without her loving care. What nobody suspected was that Alma became pregnant after all - by the farmer's stud bull. Nine months later, she gave birth to her little Emil. But things turned out differently than expected: the farmer's legal situation became increasingly complicated and he was eventually forced to part with Alma and Emil. However, the slaughterhouse was not an option for him - and so he turned to Gut Aiderbichl. Alma and Emil became Aiderbichlers. We knew that Alma was probably pregnant - and so the wait began!
