Ganter Martin came to us in 2017. A few weeks later, he would have been slaughtered in honor of Saint Martin. Hardly anyone knows why the famous St. Martin's goose is prepared and eaten on this day, but according to tradition, thousands of geese die every year on this holiday. Martin was spared this fate and is now an ambassador for his fellow geese who were not so lucky.
