Goose Mary-Ellen

Mary-Ellen, Little Prince, John Boy and Olivia - the gate was opened for four greylag geese. They were no longer wanted. The four geese walked through the village. They were afraid of the cars, the road and the people. Many people observed the abandoned geese, but only one animal-loving lady took action and tried to help the animals. She first let them into her garden and provided them with the essentials. The phone was ringing off the hook, but no animal welfare organization wanted to take in the geese. She called Gut Aiderbichl and Mary-Ellen, Little Prince, John Boy and Olivia have been living at the home farm in Carinthia ever since. Looking was better for the animals than looking away.
