Horse Michi von Rhein

The fact that Michi von Rhein can live happily with us at Gut Aiderbichl today, even if she is sometimes plagued by jealousy, cannot be taken for granted. In October 2007, she was already on a transport to Belgium for slaughter. Animal rights activists became aware of the transport and were able to stop it. They were to be transported across Europe under devastating circumstances to be slaughtered in Belgium. Michael Aufhauser was asked for help, because stopping the transport alone was not enough. The horses had to find a home somewhere. He immediately agreed and together we were able to raise the purchase price. Michi von Rhein can stay with us until the end of her natural life!
