By no means every animal story has to do with neglect, a spectacular escape or highly dramatic circumstances. Often it is stories of excessive demands, illness or financial problems that reach us - issues that can affect and happen to us all. The owner of Mozart, Nannerl, Sissi and Flora realized that she could no longer take sufficient care of her animals. The aches and pains of old age were making it increasingly difficult to care for the animals. What to do? Keep the animals or sell them? The woman was attached to her animals, so she turned to a riding stable owner and asked him for help. He couldn't help himself, but turned to Dieter Ehrengruber, the managing director of Gut Aiderbichl. He agreed, and so Mozart was able to move in.
