The handsome cold-blooded gelding Nino was bought free from the foal market by animal welfare activists. Originally, they were to be rehomed. But Nino had vertebrae damage that made it impossible to place him. Nobody wanted two more foals. All this put the animal welfare organization in financial difficulties. For a long time, they tried to help themselves. But all attempts failed miserably. They begged us for help and to take them in at Gut Aiderbichl. We agreed to take the three of them in. Today, Nino is a self-confident young gelding who knows what he wants. His handicap hardly bothers him.
