Swiss animal lovers contacted us with concern. They had read in the newspaper about a donkey that was to die because it was blind. Michael Aufhauser contacted the owner, a foundation for people with disabilities. They were happy when we offered to bring Noldi to Gut Aiderbichl Henndorf. For fear of not doing the blind donkey justice, they had considered euthanizing him. Animals with disabilities are in good hands at Gut Aiderbichl. Noldi has settled in very well with our donkey family and walks confidently around the estate in the middle of our donkey caravan. He is the best proof that handicaps do not diminish the animals' zest for life.
