Carriage horses have an expiration date, which occurs as soon as they can no longer pull the carriage for health reasons. At this point, the owners no longer have any use for the animals and very often these poor souls start their last journey as slaughter horses. But the story of Peter proves that exceptions prove the rule. The Noriker gelding was released from active service as a carriage horse. His owner wanted a great home for him and turned to Gut Aiderbichl. Peter now enjoys an all-inclusive package at Gut Aiderbichl and can stay with us forever.
