The beautiful Pioneer belongs to the Shire Horse breed. Originally used as draft horses, he and his friends were kept as friends and family members. Their happiness seemed perfect and the animals had a good life. But the little paradise was suddenly lost when old age brought the couple to their knees. It was no longer possible for the couple to look after the animals properly. So the horses became death row prisoners. The separation was extremely painful. When we heard about this fate, we agreed to take them in at Gut Aiderbichl. Pioneer can now stay at Gut Aiderbichl forever.
