Parrot Sam

Many parrot species have a talent for imitating human speech, but the gray parrot is probably the most capable of all. This is probably why they are so popular. However, many parrot owners make the mistake of forcing these loyal and sociable animals into solitary confinement in their living rooms. A terrible situation. The owners of a sanctuary have often rescued parrots from such conditions and re-socialized them. But at some point, the operators had to admit that they weren't getting any younger. And as parrots can live up to 100 years, a solution had to be found. The animal lovers turned to Gut Aiderbichl and asked us for help. Sam can now lead a species-appropriate life in the parrot house in Gänserndorf and stay there forever.
