In September 2005, a story happened that really amazed us. A man stood at the gates of Gut Aiderbichl and told us that he had two foals for slaughter with him and if we couldn't buy them at the slaughter price, he would send them on a slaughter transport today. After fate had taken twisted paths and brought these two to our doorstep, we didn't want to send them away again. Michael Aufhauser agreed to take them in and when they were in the paddock, he decided to christen them Siegfried and Roy.
