The losers at horse markets are almost always the animals, and they seem to know it. Because not every animal finds a responsible owner. Everything is new and unfamiliar and there is a slight nervousness in the air. Even the calmest of contemporaries can lose their nerve. Sissy, however, behaved completely differently. With her head bowed to the ground, she seemed to have resigned herself to her fate. When we bought her back and brought her to Gut Aiderbichl, we were in for a big surprise. With us, Sissy is anything but introverted. With us she is fun-loving and sociable, an enrichment for our pony herd.
