Donkey Sunny

Sunny was born on 07.10.2024 - under the protection of Gut Aiderbichl. We are very grateful that she is with us. Fortunately, she knows nothing of the danger she and her mother Simona were once in. In February 2024, we learned about a group of donkeys that were being kept in Italy in the most appalling conditions. 59 neglected animals were about to be slaughtered. An animal welfare organization had managed to buy the donkeys at auction and rehabilitate them as best they could. Many of them could be rehomed, but there seemed to be no solution for 14 donkeys. In desperation, the organization turned to Gut Aiderbichl and we pledged our support. The two mares, Franca and Simona, finally found a new home at Gut Aiderbichl Henndorf.
