Horse Sunshine

Sunshine's story begins at an auction in the USA. Why the government tried to sell Aby as a future riding horse is unclear. As we watched Aby for a while longer, we noticed that whenever there was panic in the stall, a little bay mare would come to Aby's side, which seemed to calm them both down. At that moment, without knowing it, she became our second Aiderbichler. The auction began and the small group of buyers set off together with the auctioneer. When we arrived at box number 9, we immediately registered our interest in the two animals. As expected, nobody was interested in the six-year-old Aby. So we got her for a knock-down price. The group of people gave us strange looks of astonishment and some head shaking. Next up was the little bay mare, Aby's girlfriend. Again we started at the reserve price of $125. Surprisingly, one of the men kept raising the price until he finally gave up for $5 at $155. "Little Sunshine" now belongs to us too. With quick steps we went to the cash desk. The government wants its money for the animals immediately.
