The beautiful silver fox Sver was not born in the wild like most of her fellow foxes in the fox enclosure at Gut Aiderbichl Gänserndorf. No, she is an ex-convict from a fur farm and had to eke out her existence in a small cage. Thanks to the efforts of Gut Aiderbichl, a few could be saved, but far too few by far. All the others probably died a few months later during the fur harvest. This usually happens in December, when the fur is at its thickest. We can all do something for the animals. In the case of the fur farm foxes, but also all other animals that give their lives for this industry, the only solution is to stop using such products.
