Llama Tamka

Tamka never got to know the original home of the llamas, South America, and his ancestors, the guanacos, are also foreign to him. The beautiful llama gelding was born in a circus. He and his now sadly deceased mother, Sulaika, could be found in the so-called "animal show tent". There, circus guests can admire the animals up close during the interval - for a fee, of course. When Tamka, Sulaika and other animals were due to be decommissioned, the circus director called Gut Aiderbichl. His arrival at Gut Aiderbichl marked the beginning of our study of these wonderful animals.
