The dream of a great broodmare obviously did not come true for one breeder. Therese was born with a leg deformity. At first it was thought that it would grow out, but soon came the devastating diagnosis: unfit for breeding! Her owner no longer had any use for Therese and sold her to the cattle dealer for the price per kilo. In the course of an animal rescue, which was accompanied by the TV channel "Arte" in a documentary, we became aware of Therese and immediately placed the young mare under our protection. This saved her from going to the slaughterhouse.
