When Tina came to us, together with Moritz, she was pregnant with little Donna Anna. An animal lover had bought the donkeys free and then asked us for help. For us, it was the first time we were able to see a donkey become a mother. Nature makes the same hormone available to animal mothers as it does to humans. Tina became calm and, when little Donna Anna was born, a loving and caring mother. In no case can we confirm the statement made by some that animals abandon their young once they reach a certain age. In the case of Tina and Donna Anna, we can even say that they became best friends.
