Breeding always means selection. Every year, countless foals that do not meet the "breeding ideals" experience this. Only a few months old, they then embark on their final journey to one of the notorious slaughterhouses in southern or eastern Europe. Viola was also threatened with this fate. She was already in a dealer's stable when we became aware of her. Viola has now found a new home with us and will never be in need again.
