Wastl was raised with the bottle. But now the shepherd had to have knee surgery and sell his flock. His remaining sheep (190 sheep) have already been sold but Wastl is so close to his heart that he wants a place for him where he can be happy for the rest of his life. Two attempts have already been made to collect Wastl, but Wastl has always resisted so strongly that the collection has had to be postponed twice. Now he lives at Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf until the end of his natural life.
