It is common practice for pregnant animals to be sent to Italy for slaughter. They weigh more, so they are worth more. Wendy was one such case. Michael Aufhauser found her at a horse slaughter market in Salzburger Land. He was able to buy her back and bring her to us at Gut Aiderbichl. With a lot of love and patience, we gained her trust and she was able to give her son the gift of life in peace!
